The next day, you are supposed to go to Paraíso Æther and visit Faba. Do so.

Aaaand Faba goes all villainy and steals Nebby. Andá a the building and you will be thrown into a battle with a LV 35 Nihilego. Atrapalo.

Nothing more to do here, go to casa de Kukui. No sleeping, though — Kukui will tell you that you’re going to Poni island. Return back to the sailor in Ciudad Hauoli: he now has a new destination, Cañón de Poni!
